1. Product Disclaimer
All products sold by CosmicMycology are intended exclusively for microscopy, taxonomy, and educational research purposes. Our spore syringes are sold for use in observing fungal morphology under a microscope, cataloging genetic characteristics, and advancing mycological knowledge.
Spore syringes contain mushroom spores, which do not contain psilocybin or psilocin and are not controlled substances under the Federal Controlled Substances Act. However, product misuse — including use for cultivation, extraction, or any activity prohibited by applicable law — is strictly prohibited and voids all terms.
CosmicMycology makes no claims regarding the suitability of any product for any specific purpose beyond the stated research use. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their use of our products complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
2. Age Verification
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from CosmicMycology. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or request additional verification if we have reason to believe the purchaser is under the age of 18 or is attempting to use our products for prohibited purposes.
Account registration and checkout require accurate age certification. Misrepresentation of age is a breach of these Terms and may result in order cancellation without refund.
3. Legal Jurisdiction
CosmicMycology currently ships to 47 U.S. states. We do not ship to California, Georgia, or Idaho, and we reserve the right to modify shipping availability as state legislation changes.
If you are located outside the United States, you are solely responsible for determining the legality of purchasing and possessing mushroom spore products in your jurisdiction. International orders may be cancelled at our discretion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from your use of this site or our products shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
4. No Returns / No Refunds
All sales of spore syringes are final. Due to the nature of the product — living biological material whose viability cannot be verified once it leaves our temperature-controlled storage — we cannot accept returns.
Once a spore syringe has been shipped, we have no ability to confirm its storage conditions or confirm that it has not been tampered with. For this reason, returns, exchanges, and refunds are not offered except in the following circumstances:
- Order arrived damaged or incorrect — contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence for a replacement or store credit.
- Order did not arrive within 14 days of the tracking date — contact us for a reshipment or refund.
Requests outside of these circumstances will not be honored. If you are uncertain about a purchase, please contact us before placing an order.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the CosmicMycology website — including but not limited to text, product descriptions, strain profiles, images, photography, logos, and design — is the property of CosmicMycology and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Strain names, product designations, and catalog content remain the intellectual property of their respective holders where applicable.
6. Shipping & Risk of Loss
All orders are shipped in discrete, professional packaging with no product identification visible on the exterior. Shipping risk passes to the buyer once the package is delivered to the carrier.
We ship Monday through Wednesday to prevent syringes sitting in transit over weekends. Standard transit is 3–7 business days within the continental U.S.; Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may take 7–14 business days.
We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed by the carrier after shipment. If your package has not arrived within 14 days of the tracking date, contact us and we will initiate an investigation with the carrier and work toward a resolution.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CosmicMycology and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products.
Our total liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product that gave rise to the claim.
We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information on this site. The site and all products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
8. Dispute Resolution
By using this site, you agree that any dispute arising from your use of CosmicMycology's services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against CosmicMycology. Any arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis only — not as a class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
